The Sisters are currently signing up volunteers for the 2008 Folsom Street Fair. Folsom will be on Sunday 28 September 2008 and volunteer shifts run from 9a until 6p.

There are three shifts for Folsom; the times for each shift can be found below (listed under "Upcoming Events"). To register for a shift, simply click the SIGN UP button next to the shift you'd like to work and follow the instructions. You will get a confirmation email once you've successfully signed up. If you have problems signing up, refer to the instructions.

Volunteer Orientation Sesssions:
There will be two Volunteer Orientation Sessions. The first will be on Thursday 18 September, from 7-9p and the second will be on Saturday 20 September, from 1:30-3:30p. Both sessions will be held at the Central YMCA, 220 Golden Gate, 2nd floor. It is highly recommended that you attend an orientation session if you've never worked at UYA or Folsom, or if you need a refresher.

Gate Volunteer Orientation:
The Sisters and FSE have put together a Gate Volunteer Orientation sheet. This is available online or in PDF format.


Waiver: By registering for this event, I recognize that as a volunteer, I am not covered by any workers compensation or similar insurance that would pay my medical bills incurred because of any injury I may receive while performing services as a volunteer. I do not the hold The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Inc. or Folsom Street Events responsible or liable.

Working the afternoon shift at Folsom. Mainfested Members from Out-Of-Town Houses will earn $150 for their House by working this shift.

Working the last shift at the Gates. Manifested Members from Out-Of-Town Houses will earn $175 for their House by working this shift.
